It should be so easy. This does not work on the page selected as my “posts page”

I think there might be some redundancy or conflict with the blog setting in customize template verses what you show in the link provided which are the setting for an individual page

If you have any other thoughts–I’d appreciate it. I still can’t get side bar to appear.
