Just an update, Romik.
If I check the box to enable Post Sliders on every page, they do display on every page EXCEPT my Home page. Also, the only thing that displays is the post headers with a Read More under it. They do not include the description like it does on my other site.
I only enable the posts sliders on every page for testing purposes since I really only want them on the Home page.
Thanks, Priyank. I changed the layout from “medium” to “large” and that seemed to only move the date from the bottom to just under the post title. But that does look better so I left it that way. I also changed the bottom padding to — .page-id-1099 .hentry {padding-bottom: 30px; } — and that at least spaces the posts out better so that the Read More button is closer to the correct post.
One other question about the blog shortcode while I have your attention….
I thought the 3 ellipses in brackets — […] — that show up at the end of the excerpt used to hyperlink to the rest of the post/news article. Am I dreaming???-:) Did I accidentally turn something off or was this never there and not even possible?
Thanks again,
-chuck
Perfect — Thanks!
If I do that, doesn’t it just add that one link to the menu bar. I want to have an item on the Primary menu bar that has a bunch of links under it. Like:
HOME – …… – CONTACT US – LINKS
with:
Site-1
Site-2
Site-3
dropping down under the LINKS menu item on the Primary menu. I see where to do the custom links to other sites but I can’t figure out how to get the word “LINKS” on the menu bar without it being a page.
