    I would not recommend to update separately as it can break the theme functionality. new version will come with the new version of evolve.

    it looks you didnt upload full theme package. It does include the required plugins for installation. please install and activate it one more time. it will work.

    Just visit Appearance -> Menus and create a standard custom menu and there you can set the mega menu feature -> Enable Theme4Press Mega Menu
