    the new option to change the speed of the Parallax will be available in version 2.7.0 very soon.

    in the demo I just used the 3 grid layout which you can find under Blog Options section

    it’s because you have enabled discussion for the page….disable it in edit page mode

    wordpress itself has the ability to turn on/off the comments. edit the page and in the page options uncheck Enable discussion box

    sure it is. just create a new page, in the page options choose the Parallax slider to display, then navigate to Reading and set the page as your front page. then it will show only the Parallax together with the widgets.
