I found it, thank you for the assistance in locating the toggle.
It’s definitely a new issue that has come up in the 2.01 version because I restored my 1.9 version of the site and it all works fine. Clearing caches didn’t make the issue go away. Also, the line of code I gave you is exactly the same in the 1.9 version, so it’s not there either. It’s as if the link to the image being called has been broken. Maybe renamed?
Anyway, it’s not on my end. So maybe you need to open a bug report and get it fixed in the next bug update.
Thanks.
I think it’s probably a Theme Options setting issue. Please kindly remove your added custom CSS fixes and try out the following settings.
In Theme Options-> Header -> Header Image Height
Set the height in px to your desire value, this actually sets the header height.
This was exactly the issue. I had to mess with it a little, but it’s perfect now. Thanks for the tip, I missed that feature.
I have the same questions. I didn’t see an update section in the support documentation.
via FTP:
Would I drop the new EvolvePlus folder into my theme folder and accept the over-writes? Or will this delete any custom css I’ve applied to my theme via your css editing tool?
Try using one of the WP default (generated) avatars. It works fine when I use a loaded avatar, but not on generated ones.
Trying the image again…
I’ve attached a screen shot from the sidebar of my homepage http://briarcraft.net
It shows the Evolve Tabs Widget on the comment tab with a default avatar picture. It should actually be the same avatar picture as shown above in the screenshot. I’m still learning my way around, but if I’m reading the html correctly, it’s pulling back the avatar for user 375 when it should be returning nutmegan as the user. I’m sure there’s an easy tweak, but I don’t know enough to find the source of the problem and fix it.
Updating the package did fix the comment avatar display issue.
It did not fix the issue in the blog widget where it’s calling a number instead of the author for the displayed avatar on comments tab.
Thanks
Ok, I found a work around for now by using the bbPress short codes to over-ride the easy method. (I just have to reset all the css to match the rest of the theme pages now.)
By the way, pretty much nothing with the theme addons is working on the forum index and topic pages. I wasn’t able to show headers, breadcrumbs or any of the default sidebars (except the default page sidebar does actually show on the topic sub-pages).
In general I’ve found a lot of theme css that could be improved for bbPress and BuddyPress for that matter. I do really appreciate how much effort has obviously gone into making this theme easy to use and create wonderful looking WP sites. I hope the staff will consider extending that level of detail into the BuddyPress and bbPress features as well. Despite the many small annoying details, it still creates a pretty decent looking setup right out of the box.
Thanks, Victoria
