    I installed the bbPress plugin and created some forums. It worked fine in the Evolve theme. Now I upgraded to Evolve+ but now the forum page is blank.

    I already created a new page called [forums] and added the bbp-forum-index short code, although it worked without this before, and still no luck.

    The forum works when I install another theme, so something in the Evolve+ theme keeps it from showing up I suppose.

    Any suggestions?

    Yes, that’s the page I used and that’s where the “bbp-forum-index” “solution” came from, which didn’t work.

    I could create a page in a different theme I guess (paragraph 8 in the steps), but since Evolve states it should work in this theme I don’t understand what’s wrong. None of the code of pages or plugins has been changed since install.

    Hi,

    I am able to replicate your issue.

    Forum is blank when using with Evolve Plus theme.
    There is actually a fatal error. The following is the error message.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_buddypress() in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/evolve-plus-demo/wp-content/themes/evolve-plus/library/functions/basic-functions.php on line 3329

    I will report this issue to our developers, Please wait for a fix in next theme version update.

    Any news? I’ve been trying for a month to get it to work, reading dozens of forum topics.

    Clean install of the theme, copying style pages from other themes, nothing works, still a blank page.

    If I switch to an entire different theme for the site the forum loads perfectly fine, but I didn’t pay money to use a free theme.

    If there’s no update soon, could you provide a workaround solution where I can use another theme for the bbpress and keep the theme of the rest of the site? Until now no reference to another theme that I found in forum topics seem to work…
