I have the alora theme and just installed Buddypress. In the Buddypress Activity, if I click on “comment” nothing happens (it show be an inline dropbdown box for a comment). If I change the theme it works fine, so I’m fairly confident the issue is on the theme side. Have you seen this before, do you have a fix I could try? I really want to use alora on the site, but the ability to comment is critical.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    I tried the plugin.
Yes, it’s a bug. I clicked on comment and it drops down with a form, but it does not work after I revisit the page.

I will report this to the theme author.
    Please wait for his update.

    Thanks!
    Denzel

    Hi,

Sorry, the Theme Author does not provide any estimated date for completion of new version update. There is also no private Git or SVN for me to check if there is any update by the theme Author.

    Sorry for causing any inconveniences.

    Thanks!
    Denzel

We are trying to get the site in question up/live in the next couple of weeks. Do you know if there is a section of code I can change to get it to work until the next update comes out? When the site goes live it is a feature we need to have and I really don’t want to transition to another theme. 🙁

    Hi,

Very sorry. I do not have confirm date of update release.
The theme author did not give me a confirm date.

Sorry, I do not know what is causing this issue, that’s why I reported it to the Theme author. If I knew the problem, I would have gladly fix it for you.

Sorry to keep you waiting. There are many things beyond my control.

    Best Regards,
    Denzel
