My theme4press slider works fine unless I use the Alora header #3 then it works fines everywhere except the desk version of chrome Version 43.0.2357.130 m. For some reason Chrome shortens the height as if the user is scrolling up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

Please kindly post your website url to the slider.
We need to see it in order to investigate and provide a solution.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You are using wp super cache plugin, which is why you only see the problem in chrome. You need to clear it’s cache for all pages to update. And probably clear browser cache too.
Actually it looks the same in firefox, safari, and chrome, all heights are shortened.
    See my screenshots

    http://prntscr.com/7ku5bz

    http://prntscr.com/7ku5nx

    http://prntscr.com/7ku63r

I think this is caused by a plugin that loads javascript.
Please see screenshot of my firebug console.
    http://prntscr.com/7ku9xm

You can notice that a script has added position: relative; z-index: 5; height: 131px; to <div class='header-wrapper'>
and added position: relative; z-index: 3; to many other subsequent Div tags

If you look at my screenshot, I am using header #3
You can see that there is no additional style codes to <div class='header-wrapper'> or subsequent Div tags.

By looking at the codes, I have no idea which plugin is causing this conflict.
Please disable plugins one at a time and disable your super cache to find the conflicting plugin.

    Thanks!
    Denzel

I disabled all the plugins except Theme4Press Core also I removed WP Super Cache and went from the child theme back to the parent theme all the time deleting my chrome’s cache. The problem still exists.

Not sure what to try now.

    Hi,

Please kindly continue to use revolution slider if it works properly for you.

The rectifications that you made has taken effect, I am not seeing any javascript imposed style codes on any Div tag now. Your revolution slider looks the same in both Firefox and Chrome browser now.

    Thanks!
