    Hi!

How can I place a tagline box ABOVE the front page content boxes?

Thank you for your time and attention!

    Hi,

    Sorry, just noticed this thread.

    Thanks Denzel!

I’ve implemented it and it works just fine. So now I have a follow up question that I can’t figure out. Before, when I was using the front page content boxes (as opposed to using the shortcode from the text editor), the content boxes stretched across the full width of the page, and the sidebar appeared underneath. This is what I want.

When I insert content boxes using the editor shortcode, it is smushed up against the sidebar, rather than stretching across the page full-width above the sidebar and text contents. How can I remedy this?

I’ve tried to insert the content box shortcode into the fullwidth container shortcode, but that didn’t work…

    Thank you!

    Hi Charity,

You can try setting the page to full-with.
In your Edit Page view, scroll down to Page Options and set it to full-width.

    Please post your website url.
This will help me understand better.

    Thanks!
    Denzel

    Hi Denzel –

That’s what I’ve done, but I do want the sidebar…just underneath the tagline box and the content boxes. I would like the tagline and content boxes full width.

Here’s a link to the site as I have it now (which is full width):

Thanks again for your time and attention!

    Hi Charity,

Sorry, it’s either with or without the sidebars when using a page template.

You will need to modify the template in order for a sidebar to appear below your full width content.

If you use back the default home page, in order to add a tag line above the content boxes, you will also have to modify the template.

Sorry, we do not provide customization assistance, You will have to engage a developer to assist in your customization.

    Thanks!
    Denzel

    Hi Denzel –

I had figured as much, but wanted to check to make sure there wasn’t an easier option that I didn’t know about. I’ll take another look at the template and see if I can figure it out.

Thanks again for your time and attention!
