    Hi guys,
I bought the Evolve plus theme but have issues with the responsiveness.

My website running on evolve+ is http://www.z-sc.co.za.
In mobile view everything is tiny and ya..not responsive.

I do have the latest version of WP installed and have a few plug-ins running to enhance the shop/ecommerce side.

    Please advise?
    Thanks in advance,
    Lynn

    Hi,

With reference to your thread on free forum. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/evolve-not-responsive

Please take a look at our demo page. http://demo.theme4press.com/evolve/shop/

    It is different from yours.

Any plugin that has it’s own css files can result in conflict with the theme’s css

Many of your plugins loads it’s own css file. Especially, your page builder plugin which is not tested with our theme.

Other than those plugins recommended or included with the theme, Please disable one plugin at a time to find out which plugin is conflicting with the theme.

Please reply only in this thread, Please do not reply in the free forum.

    Thanks!

Hi Denzel, Thanks so much for your feedback. I have disabled all but the plugins that came with the site and a pay-gate plugin (payfast) i need for the ecommerce shop. I still have some issues though (site is still not as mobile friendly as i’d like it to be).
I also picked up lots of errors though when i ran a CSS validator test – what can i do to sort this out?
Did this occur due to the many plug-ins?
Was it the 4.3.1 update of wordpress that made it worse?

    See link with errors..!

W3C CSS Validator results for http://z-sc.co.za/ (CSS level 3)
Sorry! We found the following errors (852)
    http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fz-sc.co.za%2F

    Please advise soonest,
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,

No CSS validator works properly. This is because browsers have their own standard.
Programmers write css code and use our eyes to valid.

For example, try validating apple.com, yes the leading computer software and hardware company. The validator says there is 1452 errors!
    https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=www.apple.com&profile=css3&usermedium=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en

You can also try to validate microsoft windows. The validator says there is 55 errors! https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fwindows&profile=css3&usermedium=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en

Surely, these two global leading software and hardware company employs top notch programmers right? In fact, they are the people writing the software. There should be no errors. This shows that css validators don’t work.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with our CSS code.

In order for me to help you, Please kindly start by tell me which element, and in which view, as well as what you want to achieve.

For example, questions like the following.

in iPhone portrait view, Can you make the individual product full width in one column instead of 4 columns?… etc

You can take a look at other threads, see how other users phrase their question.

I can solve only one question at a time.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards,
    Denzel
