    Hello Roman,

I’m using an alora-child theme. Could you please tell me how to update to the new version.
I tried updating but met a problem. I left the child them activated, removed the parent theme and installed the new version. it all went well but as soon as i finished updating the core theme and the revolution slider, something went wrong. I have an update, so i can revert to the state before i began the update. Your word of advice will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

both the url and admin area are inaccessible now. I have just reinstalled the backup. I want to follow the steps again and see what the problem was. I need to know if the steps i took were right. Leaving the child-theme activated and then reinstalling the new version of the theme and updating the plugins. what next?……… because this is where i got the problem.

well, then something wrong coded in the child theme. I would recommend to back up the child theme. remove the child theme, remove the alora theme. install the last version and compare the files with your child theme. I cannot know what codes you used in the child theme. some code of alora has been changed since the past version.
