    Hi,

    I suggest you create a new site on your computer localhost.
    Do the demo content import on your computer. Use this demo on your computer as a reference for your online site.

    Your hosting server can time out when you are doing an import online.
    The import takes a long time to finish, which can be over your server PHP max_execution_time and max_input_time.

    You will not have time out problem, if you import on your computer localhost.

    Hi,

    You cannot modify the default content boxes on homepage using shortcode.
    You can only create a static page with content boxes shortcode and assign it as the homepage.

    Hi,

    Add your slides here.

    Then in your Add Page or Edit Page, scroll down to Slider Options and set your slider type and select a Flexslider

    Sorry for lack of documentation. I do not have access to create it.
    You can go to Theme Options -> General -> Import demo content and use it as an example.

    Hi,

    Your home page url is set at WordPress admin -> Settings -> General

    If you have a plugin for multi-language, go to that plugin’s settings to change your home page url.

    Check your wp-config.php and .htaccess and see if there are anything that points to http://generizon.com/fr/energie/ as the home page.
