I tried setting up a magazine template in the Precisio Pro Theme but when I went to the setup page I got directed to the theme4press.com page.
So I upgraded to the Alora theme but cannot see any mention of the magazine template. Reading through the Forum I often find a comment like go to the >theme4press.com/features-videos/> but it just goes to the theme4press home page.

Is there any easy solution to this? if not I’ll have a refund as I’m certainly not getting what was advertised. As you might guess my patience is at an all time low.

    Thanks, Paul

you could create an account for the theme demo here http://test.theme4press.com/ and copy the magazine demo page from there. there is no tutorial on the Magazine layout anymore, as the theme has unlimited layouts.

    Thanks Roman,

I have done as suggested and it has helped greatly in understanding how the page was created.

However, with my test page and copying the ‘magazine homepage template’ code into it the page quickly falls apart, as far as I can tell all the settings are the same.

I notice that the demo site is running WP 3.8.3 and I’m running WP 3.9.1
I’ve tried it with all the plugins deactivated with the exception of Theme4press core

you need to have activated the t4p core plugin to get it working

The demo/trial front page I mocked up is visiblelandscape.com/static It’s mainly in the area of the video slider that the problems occur, although I have no need for it, I also have a full width white bar and the post’s don’t appear correctly under it. I reacivated a few plugins as they have made no difference.

How do can I add an image to this Quick reply box so that I can highlight the problem?

I’ll try this It should show a screenshot with 3 areas marked

A Title full width and therefore not correctly showing.

B Not sure what’s going on here, posts are above each other and not side by side and move when the slider activates.

C Boxes around thumbnails do not resize or the images do not resize correctly.

Also the “Magazine Posts” Title does not display.

I cut n pasted the html from the demo magazine layout page.

    Code:

    Magazine Posts

I removed the video slider to see if I could get it working without it.
