    Hi,

    There is no problem with automatic update.
    If you would like to see it, I can provide you a screen-cast to show you how it works on my test site.

    If you are unable to get it to work, it can only mean either your username or password is wrong or your web hosting is blocking connection.

    If you cannot get automatic update to work, you will have to do it manually.

    Hi,

    If you cannot overwrite, you use !important rule.
    I don’t understand why you don’t like, but that’s the way how css works.

    Hi,

    The solution works.

    .left.carousel-control, .right.carousel-control {
    display: none !important;
    }

    You have to check your other custom css codes, check whether they have syntax error.
    Any syntax error, will cause other css codes to break.

    It’s not possible for us to know which PHP file you edited.
    You will have to re-install your Theme.

    You can adjust the header height by adjusting the padding.

    Theme Options -> Header -> Header padding.
