    Just had wordpress auto update to 4.5. Website running Alora theme displays content ok but missing elements that use shortcodes and page header sliders. Suspected compatibility issues with theme and WP 4.5.

    Shortcodes for columns and buttons seem to work okay after update to WP 4.5. Shortcode for recent posts does not. Contact page appears to be working. Blog page has lost grid and featured images.

    Hi Meghan,

    Please apply the fix as mention in my previous reply.
    It will get your recent posts shortcode and other shortcodes using javascript to work properly.

    Remember to clear your cache plugin’s cache content and browser history.

    Fix worked well on http://www.elisabeth-fischer.com and http://www.haberfellner.net . Thx a lot. Anyhow it feels better to have the official update, pls inform us about availability.

    So far, I did not come across any other issues that will break the Theme.
    But, if you want to be on the safe side, you can revert back to previous WordPress version.

    To Reinhard,

    I am not the software developer of this company and I certainly do not know when the updates will be available.

    Only my boss knows and has the ability to produce and decide the day to release updates. I am only a small… tiny… part time employee of this company, can’t decide on anything, certainly cannot speak on behalf of the company.
