Good day, we’ve looked into it. Please try disabling apache mod security, it should make everything work as you expect.
Hi. Current settings of the theme put more emphasis on pages carrying less weight than on the quality of the images. That is why lower resolution images get upscaled rather than downscaling higher resolution images. However, the step might indeed be too high and we will take care of it in the next version of the theme. We will add another step, and then you will be able to regenerate thumbnails and the quality of images will improve.
Hi. I’m sorry for the delay, we’ve had some staff problems due to sicknesses last week. We will attend to the problem this week, as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Hi. No, roll it back, please. We actually have no support on weekends, so don’t do anything drastic without first coordinating it with me. We will finish the job next week. And follow-ups work, but sometimes land in spam ) Sorry about that.
This explains everything. The theme was totally overhauled in version 2.9.1 – we changed the technology behind the scenes completely. It now makes sense for you to try the update again without us (because for you it would be easier to restore everything from backup, should things go wrong). When you update to the newest one, you need to remove the old one (or rename the folder, so it will not be recognized by WordPress) and then upload and activate the newer one. We have a function, that transfers all settings from the database. If things go wrong again, then we will update ourselves and correct problems as needed. Don’t just rewrite the folder – it will cause the trouble you’ve encountered.
And BTW, if you have a backup, then it would be better to restore it and then we can see what went wrong without being stressed by the “live” problems
What version were you using before the update? And please send access to your admin area and FTP in a private message.
Hi. The correct way is to upload Evolve plus, the child theme and then activate the child theme. Then everything should have bin alright. Any chance you can roll back and start again?
Blog 1 is using posts page as home page. This is how it is achieved there. Our way is a post slider, but since you’re using it already (sorry, I missed it), then that’s that, unfortunately
