There is no specific recommendation. The best would be to make the width similar to the width of the content. Otherwise, it will be simply shrunk to the size needed.

Sorry that you didn’t get the notifications – they sometimes do get lost in spam lately, we are looking into it. And yes, the process is to remove the old theme or to rename its folder, and then upload and activate the new one. I remind you again – do NOT forget to back up the old theme and the database, so you can roll back in case you need it.

Hello. Yes, the other problems were solved – they were actually caused by a third party plugin creating the problem. We will issue a fix in the new version, scheduled to be released tomorrow. But if you are using the PageMenu plugin, you should choose something else.
